Attorney Jason Wunsch
Jason Wunsch founded Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC in 2001. Attorney Wunsch practices in both District and Superior Court with Criminal and Civil Cases where he has handled high profile criminal cases that have been featured in the local and national news media. He has been a featured speaker on the CW 22’s television show “Legal Minds” and appeared alongside a client on Dr. Phil.
Attorney Wunsch graduated from Campbell Law School in 1999. He has served as a per diem Assistant District Attorney in the Eleventh Judicial District and as President of the Harnett County Bar Association from 2008-2009. Attorney Wunsch is a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Defense Trial Lawyer in North Carolina.
Attorney Wunsch takes pride in his involvement in the local community. Wunsch served as Fuquay-Varina Town Commissioner from 2013-2021 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. He manages the Facebook page Today in the Quay, which is dedicated to sharing positive news about the local community. He’s previously served on the Board of the Harnett Regional Theatre, is the former President of the Lillington Rotary Club, and volunteers as a student mentor and Judge for Harnett County’s Teen Court.
Attorney Chad Wunsch
Chad Wunsch joined Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC in 2007 where he exclusively focuses on Family Law related matters. With over 10 years of experience in providing legal representation for divorcing individuals and their families, he has the expertise to zealously represent you in Divorce, Child Custody, Separation, and Financial Support matters.
Attorney Wunsch graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in May of 2003. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated with Honors in May 2006. As of August 2006, Attorney Wunsch was accepted into the North Carolina State Bar.

Attorney Freddie Cruz
Freddie Cruz has been a North Carolina licensed attorney since 2020 and holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law. He joined Wunsch Law Firm PLLC in November 2020. Attorney Cruz’s main practice focuses on representing clients in Harnett, Lee, and Wake County in Civil Law cases. Although his focus is in Civil Law, Attorney Cruz handles cases in Criminal Law, Family Law, and Veteran Law as well.
He represents clients at the state and federal level, which has provided him a great opportunity to interact with issues stemming from people of all backgrounds. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Attorney Cruz was a soldier in the United States Army, where he was as a Forward Observer and served multiple combat tours with the 82nd Airborne Division. As a veteran himself, he continues to support his brothers and siters in arms through community support and providing representation as a VA Accredited Attorney.
Personally, Attorney Cruz often volunteers his time and services to the community in legal and non-legal capacities. Engaging in events such as Justice Community Law Day and Armed Forces Retiree Appreciation Day ensuring that he is giving back to the veteran community he holds dear to his heart. Additionally, he is a member of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc., where he routinely gives back to the community through back-to-school drives, feeding the homeless, and neighborhood street clean ups. Attorney Cruz looks forward to continuing to serve his community and fight for equal justice for all its citizens.
Attorney Brian Lynch
Brian Lynch joined Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC in 2022. Prior to this he worked in document review for a major e-discovery provider and in worker’s compensation defense in New York State. He is licensed to practice in both New York and North Carolina. Since starting with Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC, he has begun the transition into criminal defense work.
Attorney Lynch graduated from University at Buffalo Law School in 2017. While in law school, Attorney Lynch was a member of Buffalo’s 2017 White & Case Jessup Cup International Law Moot Court competition team, which advanced from regionals to the international rounds held in Washington D.C. A native of Seneca Falls, New York, he recently moved to the Lillington area.
Brenda Dejewski
Brenda Dejewski joined Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC in April 2021. She brings 20 plus years of managerial experience. Brenda ensures our office is in compliance with HR practices and Labor Laws. She grew up in Upstate New York and has been living in North Carolina since 1997.
Jessica Clark
Jessica Clark joined Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC in 2012 as the firm’s Family Law Paralegal. Mrs. Clark works alongside Attorney Chad Wunsch in all Family Law related matters and provides a supportive role in every aspect of a client’s needs including assisting with document preparation, obtaining and analyzing evidence, drafting pleadings, and communicating with clients.
Mrs. Clark was an intern for the Harnett County District Attorney’s Office prior to joining the firm and is also a Notary Public for the State of North Carolina. Mrs. Clark graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Paralegal Technologies from Central Carolina Community College in 2011. During her time at Central Carolina Community College, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, was on the Dean’s List and received a Paralegal Writing scholarship.
Stephanie Kite
Stephanie Kite began at Wunsch Law Firm, PLLC as an intern in June of 2021. Shortly after this time period, she began working here full time. She assists Attorney Jason Wunsch with both criminal and traffic matters. She also helps with a large portion of intake for the Firm.
Stephanie graduated from Campbell University this past fall with a Bachelor of Art Degree. During her time as an undergraduate student, she majored in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law. Stephanie will be attending law school in the fall of 2022. Though she has not yet decided which law school she will be attending, she aspires to practice Criminal Law.
